This Privacy Policy explains how ChoreTab (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ChoreTab mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”).

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details — your email address, password, display name, and optional avatar.
• Space content — the spaces you create or join, chores you log, recurring tasks, calendar entries, expenses, receipts, and notes.
• Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — basic app and device information used to operate the Service and diagnose problems.
• Push tokens — if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can deliver them.

ChoreTab does not collect your precise location, your contacts, or your payment card details.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To sync your space data across members and devices in real time.
• To send notifications you have opted into.
• To respond to support requests and protect against abuse.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted processors to run the Service:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and real-time sync.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery (only if you enable notifications).
• Apple App Store and Google Play — subscriptions and any one-time purchases are sold and billed by Apple or Google, the seller of record for purchases made in the app on each platform. They process your payment and handle billing, tax, and refunds. We never receive or store your card details.
• RevenueCat — validates your purchases with Apple or Google and tells our app which premium features to unlock. It processes purchase and subscription status, not your payment card.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Sharing within a space

ChoreTab is a shared product. Activity you log — chores, tasks, expenses, and notes — is visible to the other members of your space. Choose who you invite accordingly.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, after which we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
